In the remote villages of the Sundarbans, access to electricity is a challenge. Meera, a mother of two, struggled to help her children study after sunset, relying on dim kerosene lamps that were both costly and hazardous. With the support of our Solar Light Distribution Program, Meera’s home received a solar-powered lamp. Now, her children can study at night, and she can extend her small handicraft business without worrying about darkness.
